2020-21 AGM - November 28 at 1:00 PM

Hello Sask Squash Members,

This year has been quite a challenge in so many ways. In the midst of serious personal, financial, and health concerns, squash has had its fair share of issues. With many tournaments canceled, junior programs delayed, and national events lost, this has been a challenge.

However, as an organization, thanks to our strong partners in Sask Sport, Sask Squash continues to be on stable footing and will be ready to spring into action as soon as the all-clear is give.

This year, because of the Covid 19 pandemic, our AGM will not be happening on Court 3 of the YMCA in Saskatoon during the Movember Boast, but will take place online. Here is the link to the meeting, which will take place at 1 PM on Saturday, November 28.

You can find additional information at our website [link here to article], with the meeting agenda, minutes from last year's AGM, and the financial statements from 2019-20.

As always, half of the board of directors (5) terms' are ending, so there will be an election for 5 positions. Some nominations have already been received, and are listed below. In order to be nominated for a board director position, a person must:

  • be a current, paid member of Saskatchewan Squash
  • be at least 18 years old
  • be nominated by a current, active member of Saskatchewan Squash (can be self-nominated)
  • accept the nomination

If you would like to nominate a member of SSI to be a board director, please send the nomination to sasksquash@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Please let us know if you plan to attend this meeting. We need to have 25 members in order to have quorum. We expect the meeting to be an hour or less, and will be providing excellent information about the game you love.

Nominations for the 5 board director positions:

  • Neekha Patel
  • Chiru Gade
  • Stephen Bardutz
  • Stephanie Boyle
  • Nikole Todd
  • Waqar Shah
